Marlo Wells is a singer and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He is from a musical family and follows in his Father, Carl Jones, footsteps. Carl was one of the lead singers of a legendary doo woop group from Motown called the Tear Drops. and they later changed their name to the Love Tones.
During Carl's career, he spent time hanging out and collaborating with his friends who happen to be legendary Detroit greats! among them was Smokey Robinson, Mary Wells, Marvin Gaye and Mickey Stevenson who happen to be in Carl's groups.
In 2017, at the age of 61, Marlo continued in his father's footsteps and became a contestant on NBC The Voice. Marlo is the oldest contestant to do a blind audition on The Voice! till this day!
Marlo's sound is described as smooth, and powerful. His passion is singing songs of Romance and Love. His favorite genres are R&B, Jazz, and Gospel. He loves singing the classics from the 70's, 80's and 90's!
