The Show Must Go On! Our Top 5 tips for supporting the theatre industry at this time!

As a theater loving community it is important for us all to stick together and do what we can to continue support our local theaters and the industry as much as we can! Here are some simple ways we can continue to stick together!

 

1.    Keep your passion for theater-

Whilst theaters have had to close the curtain for now… they will continue to bring you production shots, trailers and interviews of future shows and even live streaming of productions so let’s all join together as a community, be positive and keeping sharing our passion of theater!

 

2.    Share Social Media Posts from your local theater and industry influencers-

Support your local theater and favourite industry influencer at this time by engaging with their social media posts and keeping awareness up, theaters may be temporarily closed but your support would still mean the world to them.

 

3.    Remain Patient-

You may be concerned about cancelled shows you have booked tickets for and what will happen now but please respect the staff at your local theater by remaining patient, the theatre will be inundated with messages and calls from unsure customers but please be assured that the staff are working hard to contact all effected customers and will be in contact soon.

 

4.    Book future shows-

Your favorite bands, comedians and musical theater shows are already booking for upcoming tours for later this year and 2021 continue to support them by booking something to look forward in the future and making sure that when theatre doors do re-open the seats are all filled!

Most theaters are registered charities so why not make a  donation to your local theater (any amount you can afford would be appreciated) to help them financially during this uncertain time.
